Are Preferred Nutrition products gluten-free?
Preferred Nutrition states that every product is made without gluten proteins. However, its products are not manufactured in a dedicated gluten-free facility. Customers with allergies or significant sensitivities should review the individual product label before use.
Are Preferred Nutrition supplements third-party tested?
Yes. Preferred Nutrition products are ISURA tested and certified for the absence of GMOs, contaminants, heavy metals and adulteration. Raw materials are also tested for purity, safety and potency, and the products are manufactured in a facility that follows Health Canada’s Good Manufacturing Practices.
Are Preferred Nutrition capsule shells non-GMO?
Yes. Preferred Nutrition confirms that its vegetarian capsule shells, gelatin capsule shells and softgel shells are all non-GMO.
Are all Preferred Nutrition capsules vegetarian?
No. Products identified as containing a “vegetarian capsule” use a non-animal capsule shell. When a Preferred Nutrition product does not specify that its capsule is vegetarian, the capsule is made from pork- or beef-sourced gelatin.
