Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide in a non-GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.
Suggested Use
Recommended dose (Adults): Take 3 capsules once daily with a full glass of water, with or without food, or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking this product. If you are taking other medications or natural health products, take this product a few hours before or after them.
Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 7 weeks.
Cautions & Warnings
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; or if you have peptic ulcers, regional enteritis, or ulcerative colitis.
Before using heme iron polypeptide, consult your health-care practitioner if you are taking methyldopa, other iron-containing products, or medications including tetracycline antibiotics, penicillamine, cefdinir, chloramphenicol, levothyroxine, levodopa, or quinolone antibiotics.
Consult a health-care practitioner before use if you have hemochromatosis, other forms of anemia, repeated blood transfusions, or gastrointestinal conditions.
This product may interfere with certain laboratory tests, including stool blood testing. Inform your health-care practitioner and laboratory personnel that you are taking this product.
Contraindications: Do not use if you have an allergy to bovine products.
Known adverse reactions: Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, upset stomach, abdominal cramping, and dark stools may occur. Discontinue use if hypersensitivity occurs.
Keep out of reach of children. There is enough iron in this package to seriously harm a child. Do not use if seal is broken.
