Body Muscle Massage is a professional-quality massage lotion formulated to help temporarily relieve sore muscles while providing a smooth, non-greasy application ideal for massage therapy.
Originally developed in the Canadian Rocky Mountains for skiers, mountaineers, and outdoor athletes, this botanical-rich formula combines menthol and methyl salicylate with multiple herbal extracts including arnica, calendula, chamomile, juniper, pine needle, and aloe vera.
The lightweight formula offers extended workability for massage applications while absorbing cleanly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue.
Ingredients
Medicinal ingredients:
- Methyl salicylate — 3%
- Menthol — 5%
Other ingredients: Extracts of marigold (Calendula officinalis) flower, arnica (Arnica montana) flower, gentian (Gentiana lutea) root, sweet clover, St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum), lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) leaf, juniper (Juniperus communis) berry, pine needle, and chamomile (Matricaria recutita) flower; purified water, sweet almond oil, vegetable glyceryl stearate, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, aloe vera, edetate disodium, carbomer 940, triethanolamine, cucumber extract, rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) leaf extract, citric acid, sodium hydroxide, and benzoic acid.
Suggested Use
Adults and children (2–12 years old): Apply thinly and evenly to the affected area up to 3–4 times daily.
Rub or massage into the skin until absorbed. For children (2–12 years old), application should be supervised by an adult.
Cautions & Warnings
Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist, worsen after 7 days, or recur within a few days.
Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, or taking anticoagulant medications.
Contraindications: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Do not tightly bandage or apply with external heat sources such as heating pads.
Known adverse reactions: Rashes, burning discomfort, or hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Discontinue use if irritation develops.
If overdose or accidental ingestion occurs, call a Poison Control Center immediately.
